PT Paragon Karya Perkasa Tbk (PKPK) was established in 1983. In July 2007, the Company conducted its Initial Public Offering (IPO) and officially listed its shares on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, marking an important milestone in expanding access to funding and enhancing corporate governance transparency. The year 2021 marked a significant milestone for the Company when PT Deli Putra Bangsa officially became the controlling shareholder through the acquisition of 900,000,000 shares, representing 75% of the total issued and fully paid-up shares. This corporate action brought stability and a new strategic direction to PKPK, in line with its commitment to strengthening its capital structure and expanding its business lines in the energy and resources sectors. In 2023, the Company amended its principal business purposes and objectives to include civil construction for oil and gas facilities, civil construction for mining facilities, civil construction for geothermal facilities, oil and gas installations, and mechanical installations. This change reflected PKPK’s focus on expanding the scope of its services in the energy sector and strategic national infrastructure. Subsequently, in 2024, the Company strengthened its position in the mining sector by acquiring 99.94% of the shares of PT Deli Putra Bangsa (formerly PT Deli Pratama Batubara) in PT Bhakti Harapan Sejahtera (BHS), which holds a 70% stake in PT Tri Oetama Persada (TOP). PT Tri Oetama Persada commenced commercial operations in September 2024, with its principal activities in coal mining and quarrying for both domestic and export markets. On June 10, 2025, the Company officially changed its name from PT Perdana Karya Perkasa Tbk to PT Paragon Karya Perkasa Tbk. The name change represented the Company’s new strategic direction in strengthening its image as an integrated national company engaged in construction and coal mining, with a commitment to sustainability, innovation, and long-term value creation for its stakeholders. In 2026, Resources Global Development Limited acquired 612,000,000 shares, representing 51%, while PT Deli Pratama Nusantara acquired 288,000,000 shares, representing 24%, from PT Deli Putra Bangsa.
